Hope for Comedy
It's wonderful when funny people being interviewed makes for better tv than scripted stuff. **Suggested clips: The Daily Show, Survivor

History V. Today.
The Original American Gladiators is so much better than the current American Gladiators. Everyone is cordial! They seem to really honor sportsmanship and teamwork. They also seem smarter.

New and Interesting
Valentine is entertaining in a Buffy The Vampire Slayer way. It also has Jaime Murray (Lila from Dexter)
Wednesday, October 29, 2008
Recently I have been really into self-motivation through reality TV. It's good to compare yourself to people who get cast on reality TV.
Survivor School from Mojo is a good pre-workout show.

Worth a look
I have prof'ed this show before, but it's worth a watch, especially with new series only coming out once a week. I need more than that.

Scandalous
Whoa. I have never really gotten into anime, and this frankly just surprised me. This is the closest thing have found to porn on Hulu. That's right, even closer than Battle of the Bods

Kath and Kim
As comedy gets dumber, Kath & Kim.
This is not to say I don't like at first glance. But if you want people this dumb, save your money and make a reality show.

Funny-Forward?
Call me liberal, but if the Today Show will report on your political satire, You (SNL) are not too progressive, merely sardonic. Ah, these words are too big, you don't make a critique, you are just referential.

Some Distracting Fluff
There's something about THIS model show, VogueTV's Model.Live that is nice, people actually get famous? or modeling is a business and it's nice for the perspective? You can easily serial the episodes in an hour.

The Biggest Loser
The Biggest Loser is back, if you've never watched this show, you should check it out, most potential heart-warming tears on Hulu. Also a more fun to watch chubbies exercise than THESE people.

Hul-Ew
Scold Hulu, do you know how long it took me to work up the mental fortitude to watch Koyaanisqatsi? Like 3 months, then, Commercials!
New business model, yadda yadda, on things like that you need to do that thing where you give me the option to watch a long trailer at the beginning. sheesh.

HowCast
HowCast, tells you how to do things. This was not my first face,I wasn't so sure, but this thing has me super-pegged...and i like being told what to do.

This Season
So the new TV season is upon us. Here's some good from this year, already on the big H.
Fringe (From the Makers of Lost **I smell a crossover and it smells soo o good.)
Sons of Anarchy FX has become my favorite Drama network.
Tabitha's Salon Takeover- Business reality is looking good in these Tough Times. (No full episodes yet, but I'm hoping)
America's Toughest Jobs- Already addicted to this, I pick Sandy to win, though Melissa is not bad either.
This season I am all about meat. or substance. Let me know if anyone finds good new comedies.

MSNBC Decision '08
Looking for debate ammunition? Just have a crush on Senator Kennedy? Check out where Jon Stewart got Indecision '08.
Goodness Sake
Martha Stewart, so this is how you do it.
Sake (pronounced [sa.kÉ›] Listen (help·info)) is a Japanese alcoholic beverage made from rice.
This article uses the word "sake" as it is used in English, as the name for this specific Japanese alcoholic beverage made from rice. However, in Japanese, the word sake (Japanese: é…’; usually preceded by the honorific prefix o-) means alcohol or alcoholic beverages in general and not exclusively this specific single beverage (Wikipedia.com. Sept. 17, 2008)

Slim Pickings, on this side...
So the fall TV season is upon us. More featured TV, means less for me to root through. I've decided to follow up on some stuff that I haven't blogged about, but that's been there for a while.
Banzai-A Gentleman's Japanese Gameshow. Make sure you have something frosty in your hand, the best thing to bet really, tough times.
Stacked The best thing about this is Christopher Lloyd. (Also the most confusing thing about it.) There are a surprising number of Pamela Anderson Shows on Hulu, Special Prizes to everyone who names another one in the comments...

America has talent
I am not really a great believer in "Talent." Especially having seen The Today Show's coverage of the show America's Got Talent. However, some people are pretty good at random skills...(watch with salt)

As much as I am blind to his flaws most of the times, he did recycle his 'grab her boobs' joke...Russell, you have got to give yourself more credit, I am a major follower. I am picking up what you are putting down. I remember. Call me.

Politic-Artoons
The Pale Force used to air as a segment on Conan O'Brien. I didn't know that, but this gem is good enough that I'd believe its blurb.
Rosario
I like Rosario Dawson, Gemini Division took a little too long for me to get into. But it's short.

The Fashion Team
The Fashion Team.... ever think you're too judgmental? (A judgment, I know) These people take it to a new level. In this episode, they blow their other features, and critique the celebs at the Teen Choice Awards. A lot of the criticism is that people are wearing stuff that's 'too old' for them. What do teenagers do besides try to look older?

Go watch The Tick
Face:
Recently, after seeing The Dark Knight, the friends I was riding home with suggested that
(Batmanuel fromThe Tick, a great program) should make an appearance in the next Batman. There is a tie-in, Nestor Carbonell, is already in The Dark Knight, he's the mayor, with the eyeliner.

The Practice
Face:
Remember the 90's, when everyone wanted to be a lawyer? Real drama was lawyers debating cases, setting precedents and really poking around in societies moral fiber. The Practice takes me back to the time before marathoning seasons on DVD, check it out, bite off a morsel of story without buying a whole cow.

Dead Ringers from China
Face:
You guessed it, The Today Show, broadcasting from China, seems to have hit some censorship from the Chinese Government. *this assumption gives them some benefit-of-the-doubt which they may or may not deserve.
Suggested Viewing:Brought to you by the number 8
Puppy Clones
Some hypothetical interviewing by Matt Lauer, set to the music of Daft Punk and Kanye
8/8/08 really is a lucky day, click on any of them from today, you'll find something to laugh out loud about....

Nashville Star
This guy didn't win, but the original songs on Nashville Star are worth a look, spoiler though, if you were ever planning on purchasing the 6th season, 2008 was a great year for country reality.
Sad Reality
Face:
Ever think, 'I could make a reality show, it looks so easy?' It's easy to get wrapped up in the idea that your life would be interesting for viewers. Don't give in. Behold: Sunset Tan, a non-interesting look at some people. However, it gets 'Battle of the Bods' type spectacle points.

Not what I thought...
Face:
Snapped, from the Oxygen Network, was not what I had expected to see when I clicked the link. What do you think?
Spoiled! It's a news show that does mini episodes of investigative journalism on cases where women have "Snapped" and killed their husbands. Check it.
